I am thankful for the number three! Kidding, though I guess I am thankful for counting? Really though today I am thankful for color. Hold on I know it's weird and really general but it is so true.
I never really appreciated it until I started knitting and then even more once I learned to spin. Color plays such a huge role in both of the crafts I love. When it comes to knitting you almost have to match the pattern to the color and when they don't work it changes everything. If you knit a stuffed animal one color instead on another it can change everything!
I have learned to have such a passion for colors and how they blend and change together. I mean I see yarn sometimes I think the colors or delicious and amazing! Even in the parts of my life not related to crafting I have learned to have such a love for all of the colors around me, that make up the world as I know it. I guess it is something I always take for granted but I honestly don't know what I would do without it!
I hope you all are having a colorful week!
I couldn't agree with you more. For a very long time, my go-to colors were always neutral but in recent years, my stash has become multi-hued and I love it! It definitely makes knitting much more fun.
ReplyDeleteColor is definitely something to be graceful for. Did you happen to dye that gorgeous skein?
