The Shawl (And more RAKs!)

So if someone could look and see everything I have ever knitted there will be a few things that have yet to be conquered. One of them being... lace work. I just hate it, it seems so tedious and time consuming. I finally decided to adventure into strange unknown lace waters. Using this gorgeous Mushishi yarn made by Plymouth Yarn I have taken the first step into lace work. I am using this gorgeous pattern; the storm cloud shawlette. It is gorgeous and simple and I felt as though I could handle the minimal lace work. I am on row 32 of 70. So nearly half way there because I am choosing to leave the ruffle off. It just was not me. So here you go readers, the start of my first ever shawl.

This one best shows the gorgeous colors of this yarn.
Also I got another letter to day in the mail! This time I got an amazing set of fruit stitch markers. I am buying a set of thank you cards this weekend, though I feel like that doesn't show how grateful I am for these people's kind gifts.

I can't wait to use these gorgeous stitch markers!
