Life is a Whirlwind

My life as of late has been completely mind blowing. Between finals week and my life as a sorority girl has kept me on my toes, being a kitten mom is also something that takes up a surprisingly amount of time. One thing that I have found that calms me down is painting. I am not the best painter, far from it, but it is something that calms down the fast pace of my time.

The above canvas is a work I spent probably way too much time on. Travel and seeing the world is something that truly inspires me. As well as constantly reminding myself that I have only seen such a small part of what the world has to offer. I love having this canvas hanging above my TV and seeing it the second I walk in my room.

I think it also show that you do not need to be a master painter to create a beautiful canvas. At the end of the day it is about what makes you happiest.

With love,
Zoey

I've Missed You

So it has been almost a month since my last post and I can not believe how fast time has flown by. I was always planning on writing a blog and then something else would come up. I would love to have a ton of knitted things to show you but the truth is I am still working on Tatum's Christmas present. This second semester has been kicking my butt! Classes have really kicked into gear and I spend every night studying for something. My midterms are this Wednesday and then I finally get to go home for spring break and can hopefully get some crafting done! But I thought I would let you know some of what I have been doing!

First off I have had Four interviews and two work shops for three jobs I applied for. I applied to be a CA (My school's version of a RA), an Orientation Peer Assistant, and a Maverick Mentor. The Maverick Mentor is an academic advisor/ role model that lives on the dorm floor and helps students with their academics. The OPA is one of the people at orientation that help students and families answer questions they may have. I already was offered the Maverick Mentor position and am just waiting to hear about the other two!

I did go home one weekend and did some fun crafts with my mom. We painted some flower pots and just spent some time together. It was great being home and I can not wait to go home again! The only other time I have gone home this semester I went to my Dad's house and got stuck there because of a snow storm!

Even though life has been crazy I have loved almost every minute of it. I really feel like this semester I am actually a college student and no one is going to jump out of the closet and yell gotcha, now go home at me. I have weird fears I know. I hope to start posting more regularaly for now I just want you guys to know I do miss writing and reading your blogs! I am hoping to get caught up soon. Hope you guys are having a great weekend!
